I'm not sure exactly what the OP was getting at, but I'll take 7 more years of "downward spiral" if it means another 7 seasons like we just had under Pete Carroll.

Sure Pete has done some things in games that I question. But which coach hasn’t.

One small thing is 4th and less than 5 yards from around midfield and we Rarely if ever go to the line with attempt to draw them offsides. Something little but once in a while it might work. And there is really no harm if it doesn’t work.

I'd argue one of PC biggest flaws is when he gets to about the five yard line. Whatever was working like running the ball or throwing in the middle, suddenly becomes shotgun formation routes to the corners/fade routes. It seems they become a lot more predictable and Seattle ends up having to settle for 3.
