He just isn't very good hell he was 5 yards in the back of the endzone if the running back would of caught the ball it would of been a touchdown
Unless you want to bet on both Lichtenburg and Long staying healthy all 16 games, they pretty have to keep Lauvao.Riley will get cut if he doesn't start. Same with lavou

Btw, I think it's been a given for a while now that Compton and Foster will be the starting ILBers. Whether or not they keep Riley will likely depend on whether or not they need to acquire someone who will cost some cap space.
Compton & Foster would be back ups on most other NFL teams. Not athletic enough, not enough speed and deficient in coverage. Hopefully we can upgrade next year as I believe Daniels will be too slow to play the position.
Actually Compton is going to be in on out 3rd down defense.
I just looked up Antonio Pierce - 6'1 238 lbs UFA signed by the Redskins. Then I looked up Compton - 6'1 238 lbs UFA signed by the Redskins. Both of them are coaches on the field who make their teammates better because of their exceptional feel for the game and Feetball IQ. I'll take Compton over a bigger faster guy who doesn't have the intangibles cough*Keenan Robinson*cough*Perry Riley, Jr.Compton & Foster would be back ups on most other NFL teams.
