It’s like I always say, the next interesting sideline interview will be the firstESPN really needs to drop the coach interviews between quarters. It just comes across as forced and adds nothing to the presentation.
So you don't enjoy the inane questioning that lasts long into the next quarter where the coaches are obviously annoyed?ESPN really needs to drop the coach interviews between quarters. It just comes across as forced and adds nothing to the presentation.
“You know, we just gotta keep doing what we’re doing, stick to our strengths, exploit their weaknesses, play hard, FOOTBALL!!!!”So you don't enjoy the inane questioning that lasts long into the next quarter where the coaches are obviously annoyed?
No reason to not have a 16 team playoffs. It lasts exactly as long as the NCAA tourney so that's that.
Ah fuck, I thought you were gone, I mean, welcome back! There's one big reason not to. Since just about time immemorial, one of the charms of college football has been that "every game matters", and even a loss to, say, Northern Illinois in September could derail a championship season. College football was unique in that regard.
Reasonable people can disagree about whether or not that was a good thing, but changing it rejects an awful lot of history. Do we really want to see load management introduced to college football, and star players taking a few games off during the season because their team can afford to lose 2 or 3 or 4 games?
