And that, by definition is a hater. Lets be real here, what does Sid do that would draw the ire of an opposing fan? You obviously will say he 'whines', and in his first few years in the league, yeah he did. With his role as an NHL captain now, it's his job to jaw at the refs. Other than that, whatcha got? He's the hardest working, most dedicated guy on the ice. He doesn't employ Avery tactics, and he doesn't cry in his post-game pressers. Sid just comes out every night and performs with the same determination he did the night before.

edit: i don't expect you to like him, but hating him because of his talent... is a hater
