Want too worried about Sid's slump. He's just held to a higher standard than most. Really impressed by Brian Gibbons's speed, he's exactly what we needed against Boston last season.

I like him. I really like him. He needs to either stick on Sid's line, or they should keep giving that Gibbons-Sutter-Megna line a chance. I like that combination.

Still need depth. Badly. They greatly lack forward depth. So, it's either get a top line winger for Sid, and the trickle down helps bolster the third line, or get a solid third line winger. Getting a top line winger would be great, but I doubt it. I don't think Shero's really feeling the rental, seeing how it's worked the past few years, but he may make a bit of an exception if he gets a guy like Vanek or something. Still, the better option would be bolstering the third line, IMO. That's why the Pens won the Cup in '09...a great third line. Ott is a guy I'd like.

Playing the Sabres has allowed a lot of players to break slumps this year.
