Horrible hire, he has just 3 winning seasons in 12 seasons. They should have just kept Williams if this was the best they could do. He's best as a #1 assistant to the HC, that's his best role on a team.

Apparently NO is just going after whoever has been with the Warriors the last couple of years. Marc Stein is reporting they're trying to hire Darren Erman to be Gentry's defensive assistant. Erman is the guy that Mark Jackson clashed with and ran off because Jackson basically was getting jealous that Erman was getting too much credit for rebuilding Golden State's defense.
