Damnitthis couldn't wait until after the finals?
He's still coaching in the Finals.
Honestly they should have gone with JVG if it was between the two. I don't get all the love Gentry gets. He's had several chances and outside of like 1 good season with Phoenix, he's a pretty subpar coach. I thought he had found the perfect role lately as an assistant coach that specializes in offense. He's not HC material.
Coaches are essentially worthless in the NBA
Even Popovich, Jackson, Riley, and Auerbach would not win jackshit without loaded rosters
Heck, we got two rookie coaches in the darn finals.
Kerr has some excellent talent on that team.
It's easier to coach when you have top caliber players. Just saying.

Smart man right here lolExcept you can visibly see the difference Kerr has made so you point is basically mute.
of course adding a finally Andrew Bogut, Shawn Livingston, and Leandro Barbosa had nothing to do with it
The Warriors would have arrived a bit sooner had Bogut been healthy
He makes a huge diffrence
