Ok I don't know if I have to eat crow for my AA comment.
It appears Boston wanted to help every slumping player tonight.
If Pearson were in he might have scored Two

If Pearson was with him he would have had 2!

The absence of Pearson for me last night really showed me how much that guy needs to improve his game, if that makes any sense. He has a lot of potential, speed, works hard but he doesn't seem to know where to go and when to do certain things. That dawned on me last night.

I watched guys like Andreoff, Nolan, Lecavalier, etc. and they just seemed way more involved in the attack. Even looking at Toffoli's goal against Anaheim last week where Doughty fired the puck, hits his leg and slo mos into the net over The Legend, and it's clear Pearson is never in the right place at the right time. Much of it is circumstance, much of it is being well defended but it seems he doesn't go to the areas where the best chances will be created.

Kid has skill and talent but really needs to improve his overall game, mainly offensive awareness. While I am not saying trade him, I would not be surprised if they did, especially if the return improves the Kings' chance for another Cup.
