I would agree, colors and Manster have been here and the conversation is about football. Others don't seem to be able to to that without starting an arguement. It's the 5th grade useless arguements that are annoying. Sadly this is what this post has turned into.

The funny thing is both teams have sucked since the mid 90s so I am not sure what all the chest bumping is about.

Its a sad state of affairs when you consider your season a success because you finished better than your rival that did horrible. And that is what the trolls live off of. If they lose this week the mantra will be atleast we finished better than Washington. If they are one and done, atleast we finished better than the Skins.

But we are the ones obsessed.

At least you aren't obsessed, pdiddle"

obsessed?

Pay Back to the ones that wrote the check January through early September.
Two way street always upset the loudest talkers.....but hey, RG3 is still the better QB and anytime now Washington will be a contender

Payback, eh?

Payback how, exactly?

Nobody but you seems to understand whatever asinine point you are trying to make in the first place, yet you keep prattling on about SOMETHING.

Do you really think the cowboys are any good? Really?!?! I mean, when you look at the niners, Seahawks, broncos, patriots, saints, or possibly the chiefs, do you really think the cowboys would beat ANY of those teams?!?!

The only legitimate answer is "no."

So do us all a favor and shut your trap about a point nobody understands, and enjoy your slightly less awful season then the redskins had.

Merry Christmas, dumbass.:yahoo:

I'm sorry your football opinions have been flawed over the years, all the best this Holiday Season!

I'm sorry mine have been flawed too. Usually I was guilty of giving the cowboys and their pathetically obsessed fans the benefit of the doubt too much. After this year's debacle, I stand corrected.

Thanks for pointing that out for me. If you could fetch me a beer, and make me a sandwich, I'd be much obliged.

Thanks, Jeeves. You may go now.

I am not a mod so it is not my decision. What I will say is all trash talk should go on the Smack Talk thread whether you are a Skins fan or not. A lot of us prefer not to be involved in these type of discussions so let's keep it where it belongs and don't ask for trouble by egging them on. dad moved the thread for a reason, and it looks like some people are taking advantage of that.

Peace and Merry Christmas.

Sportster, as you know, I originally supported this sentiment. But Krush made a good point. What if a PDay shows up on every thread with his inane babble and the thread devolves into smack just because of a trolls posting? Should every thread then be added to the smack talk thread. IF a skins fan starts a thread outside of the smack talk thread to discuss any aspect of football with other Skins fans, including a touchy point about the Cowboys, we skins fans should have to opportunity to discuss that topic without smack talk. And this should be true on their forum concerning skins fans posting, also.

The trolls need to adhere to the policies of the forum, wether they are redskins or cowboys fans. IF there is a thread or point made that they feel the need to contribute, do it with the understanding that they are a guest on this forum (or we on their's) and need to post appropriately. If they feel the only way to respond to a thread outside the smack talk thread is to denigrate and derail the thread (which is all most trolls can do), then they need to be dealt with appropriately. This is why we developed the smack talk thread. So trolls like PDay can babble on to their heart's content uninhibited.

Now, we need to be smarter about our threads. Starting a thread with a troll's user name is probably going to elicit a response from most trolls (at least the insecure ones). So it is probably expected that he would show up on this thread to defend whatever honor he may think he has.

Thanks for the kind words. I try not to post here too often because I'm afraid I would get overly trollish.
As for both team being bad since the mid 90's I've used that same argument against Skin trolls on our board. Now what I find funny is Krush crying about trolls, he was front and center before the season started. I have no issues with the majority of you complaining about trolls, but Krush gave up that right when he thought is was funny to troll nonstop this past preseason.

In short my statement was generic. We certainly should be able to have a Romo thread if he is injured without trolls taking the thread over. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out if someone is trolling/insighting. I think dad did the right thing by moving the thread in this case. If a particular person continues to troll over and over then I would hope a mod would ban them after giving them several chances to adhere to the rules.

I feel the same way in both directions. I don't like seeing someone that is a Redskin fan trolling other boards then coming to our board and complaining when someone does the same thing. If you troll their board you are only causing problems for our board. SH has been a good place for fans to come talk, chat, debate our favorite teams. I certainly like it more than where most of us used to post. Chaos was the norm there.

Just to set the record straight ...

I wasnt posting nonstop during the preseason.

I posted once before the season started in your rollcall thread when everyone started joining this forum.

I posted a handful of times in Oct the week leading up to the skins/cowboys games ... the majority of the time in your smacktalk thread ... & I havent posted on the Cowboys board since Pday agreed he would stop posting over here if I stopped posting over there.

I kept my end of the agreement. I dont need to post over there, because I am not a troll. But Pday ... he just can not help himself. He is what he is.

This thread has served its purpose & we dont need to continue this conversation.

Pday can't play ignorant about the boards expectations, and the mods are aware of the situation.

The point I am trying to make is ... this is the Redskins board & no matter what the topic he should not be apart of the conversation. If Redskins poster want to discuss the cowboys, an injury to Romo, or a cowboy troll ... they should be able to do so without his input.

I completely understand where you are coming from...but you have to understand making a thread with his name as the title is just inviting it. That was my point. It is what it is but if it was me in your situation and I had a question of how and why the mod did this or that a simple PM to the mod would have worked.

But you go ahead and do you. I'm not trying to debate what you should or shouldn't do. It's all good.:suds:

i will deal with P-Day if he strays off the path by deleting his responses or moving the threads or even banning if i need to

i am trying to be fair to all concerned here but you cant start out threads calling people out and such and expect me to ban the person responding

country roads , to me was trying to stir the pot , but there are people who dont want to engage in that stuff on every thread we have here . we have a smack talk thread so use the damn thing and be done with it

and if other people try to hijack threads we start that are legit i will step in but dont expect me to silence people who have a differing view of things and call it trolling .

it one thing to say nanny nanny poo poo , and a hole different thing to say i think player ex doesnt have this skill to be great or we reached for player y in the draft or we paid to much for that player if they can back it up

but get this straight people this site will not be espn part dog dew . not while i am a mod :suds:

Thanks for the nice words about my posts I try my best to be respectful and keep the conversation about the football and leave the pissing match to those that want to get wet. You should be able to disagree with another teams fans without getting wet. JMHO
