Could care less about Walker's stats tonight. All that matters is he was healthy enough to make the start and not leave injured. Hopefully nothing pops up sore in the next 24 hours
Numbers in Tacoma don't really matter, Paxton is a prime example. For most players the minor leagues pitchers who have a future with the club, minor league starts should be treated as extended spring trainings.
Tajuan Walker has struggled in his first couple of innings. 4 walks and 56 pitches through 2 innings. Seems like he will still need some time before he's ready
Went 5 Inn, 4 hits, 2 runs (both solo hrs), 1 BB, 3Ks. 77 pitches 46 strikes
Alot better then his last start but I would still like to see him get another start or two. Going from 4 walks in 2 innings to 1 walk in 5 is a big step. Also he appears to be getting through his starts relatively healthy which is the most important thing.
