LOL and I'm going to be there tomorrow.

BUILT NOT BOUGHT!!!

We may not make the Playoffs, but we could at least spoil Miami's hopes with a big win tomorrow.

Yeah I was pretty shocked he came back now.

Pretty sure he's on a tight minute restriction anyway.

Doesn't make sense IMO

No Cane this game on Sunday was supposed to eliminate the Heat from the playoffs race.

Remember?

So Bird said Paul is not 100% but yet he's playing him when they're likly to miss the playoffs?

Make no sense

If I were the Pacers, I would just sit him. There is absolutely no reason to play him. Even if they do make the Playoffs, it would be against either the Hawks or the Cavaliers. Even if Paul George were able to return to form come Playoff time, the Pacers as they are now would get easily beat by either of these teams.

Yeah makes no sense. Why play him now when he can recover for another 5-6 months before training camp

with George coming back tomorrow that definitely makes things a little more interesting for the Pacers- With the Heat being losers of 4 of thier last 5- including tonights 15 point fourth quarter choke job to the Pistons- and the Celtics just 5-5 in their last 10 games- The Pacers are still alive....

George has a couple weeks at least before the playoffs start.....out of Brooklyn, Boston, Miami, and the Pacers- the Pacers are definitely the team i would least like to play- not that the Cavs wouldnt beat them- but they have some potential to make them work- especially if George is decent ....

as long as their is not a risk of re-injury- which i would doubt in a situation where there isa broken leg (as opposed to torn ligaments)- I would play him- let him take that first contact and let him get comfortable being back on the court now- instead of having him make a huge adjustment next year....

as long as he cant hurt himself further- id say go for it- get him some PT...the best players hate sitting out- and we have seen with DRose that even if you go to extremes with sitting out until you are 100% back it still does not guarantee anything....

guys like Paul George make the league what it is- I hate to see anyone injured that makes the entire league better- itll be fun to have him back- especially because- in the East at least- after LeBron- I think he is right there with a group of a few guys as the next best in the conference.

The pacers were always in the playoffs race. Miami losing had nothing to do with them being back in the playoffs race because all the teams excluding Brooklyn are separated by 1 L. Point is there 6 games left in the season, you're not 100%, & oh yeah you're on a strict minute restriction. With or without George, Indy is gone in 5 against Cleveland or Atlanta.

with all due respect- if Miami had won 4 out of their last 5 and Boston had won 8 out of their last 10- , with how Brooklyn has been playing - i think its questionable if the Pacers bring back George seeing as they would be 3 games out.

Since Miami has really struggled lately and the Celtics cannot sustain any kind of momentum, the Pacers are only 1.5 games out. -like I said- if they were 3 or 4 games out - i am not so sure George plays-

although- like i said- if there is no risk of re-injury then i dont see why he does not play. From my very very limited medical expertise- i would think that a broken leg is either healed or not- and that it carries less risk than re-aggravating tendons and ligaments that were torn and replaced- but that is just my lay opinion.

If thats the case get him reacclimated now- let him take that first hit- and get some confidence in his body that he can carry over into next season instead of starting from scratch- if he can get those doubts out of his mind now so much the better for him and the Pacers next year.

He would have 8 preseason games to get reacclimated before the season started next year in addition to a month of training camp/scrimmages.

Bringing him back now makes no sense. They're going no where anyway. Why not sit your ass down, have the Pacers miss the playoffs, & get a top 10 pick this year?

BTW good news for Miami if they miss the playoffs. If Indiana, Utah, Phoenix, New Orleans, Boston, & Brooklyn finish with a better record than we do we get to keep our pick because it is top 10 protected. The only team of those teams I listed that we have a better record than at the moment is Indiana.

I saw that a few weeks ago- some guy wrote that he thought the Heat should just pack it in and get the pick and move on for next season. I think there is some logic to that without a doubt.

If the Heat do indeed keep the pick, where would you like to see them use it? Assuming Bosh comes back healthy- it would see that Whiteside/Bosh/McBob is a good place to start in the frontcourt- and with Dragic the PG position is no longer a need.

Personally I think a wing is the place to go- either a good 2 or 3 that can create and defend.

Yeah obviously we need a backup SG. We don't have one at the moment as we tend to use chalmers as the backup 2.

That will be one of our biggest needs in the offseason is to find a solid backup SG

I am not worried about Paul George coming back tomorrow. It actually might be a good thing. Kind of mess with the minutes/chemistry the Pacers have going. Plus first games back after a long absence tend to be rough. Who knows, Paul George may drop 40. But I think it is more likely he struggles a bit. The Heat will have Deng on him who is a pretty solid defender.

Yeah it will mess up the chemistry and remember they have some new guys who never played with George ever.

I also can't see PG playing more than 15 MPG for this season
