Couldn't catch the game, but just checking the stats, it looked like Maye had a strong outing. Not only solid numbers, but the ball distribution was amazing. And yet the Pats got clobbered despite getting off to a 10-0 lead. They must have had a real crappy performance from their D.

In the same boat here.

If your D gets outperformed by the Jags then you're in a world of hurt but there was the big special team TD, too. That said, if you're the Patriots you probably want Maye to look good and to tank and both things happened. Jags probably want to win badly. That happened.

If the Jags can actually run the football they are a completely different team. They actually run the ball well they just dont run often enough.

Yes Maye is a bright spot on this otherwise horrid team. Pats D sucked royally today, as did special teams.

The offense has improved a great deal with him as QB but the rest of team is horrible.

really the only reason was to see Maye play, wasn't disappointed

The Jags are likely picking top 3-4 in the draft. They will have to get rid of Trent Baalke and this entire coaching staff at the end of the year anyway. They need new blood and a rebuild. I won't dump on Lawrence either. He shouldn't have been paid that much but he isn't alone there. None of these top paid QBs are worth it but TL just isn't good enough to overcome the disfunction of that organization. He's average, at best.
