Stupid? Wolfe is beyond stupid. Trade a 2nd round, never injured 26 year old edge rusher for the 200th pick in the 2026 draft.
Chiefs are barely winning games. And Wolfe just handed them a solid piece to their messy defensive puzzle. That team wouldn't piss on the Patriots if they were on fire and Wolfe gives them a blow job.

Seems like Chiefs are hoping they can turn his 2022 outlier into his new normal. Worth a gamble for a future 6th for sure

Chiefs had a player go on IR (Jody Forsten TE) so they probably just kicked a bunch of tires to find the best possible player for a roster spot. I figured they would try to go after a CB but pass rusher also makes sense.

Spags already has a Michigan Edge rusher here so maybe the thought process is that the Chiefs can get him up to speed quickly.

Seems like Veach burning a pick, but Joe Cullen’s reputation is so good I will withhold criticism for now. Seems about right for a former day 2 bust.

Except nothing has shown the Patriots are willing to spend so even if this was a salary dump (which it most likely it) doesn't mean it actually will work out and the Patriots will spend to get a player
