Sheard would be a decent signing but not sure I would call him a sack machine. He had 2 sacks this past year on over 600 plays and only 6 the year before on over 600 plays.

I had been reading about DLs and I thought he had something like 37 sacks over 3 years but that was another guy. Sorry about that.

"Meh" means pretty much mediocre. One of those I could care less one way or the other about kind of things. So when a signing is "Meh" it just means one of those that you just could care less about and have no clue whether it will actually help the team or not.

And yeah not sure what player you were thinking about. Sheard is one that he had 2 sacks in the first 4 games this past year then didn't get another the rest of the season. The year before that he showed some promise as he did have a decent number of quarterback hurries but he did seem to regress this past year. Who knows why. Again would be a decent signing but not one that I would expect would be a huge difference maker in the end. Good depth guy to bring in for some quality snaps.
