Have you heard people in the football media lately? They circle the wagons & take completely gutless stances al the time. They only criticize players who are easy targets (guys the media doesn't like) like players who get in trouble with the law (and even then they go super-easy on them) or guys like TO or Rex Ryan who don't flatter & say all the right things.

Look at Jon Gruden. Every player he sees is an all-pro'.

Tebow would do fine on College Gameday, but it wouldn't surprise me if he capitalizes on his obscene (undeserved?) popularity and eventually runs for mayor somewhere in Florida or something. Heck even Kevin Johnson got elected mayor of Sacramento.

Shouldn't you have some understanding of the sport to commentate on it? Simple reads baffle the hell out of Tebow.

He would also be a shitty politician.

fuck that, his voice is more annoying than erin andrews and she had tits to make it somewhat palatable.

If you want to torture someone, force them to listen to Doris Burke all day.

I would personally travel to assassinate him if he was given even a hint of power.

Everything he has ever stood for is terrible.

College Gameday analyst at ESPN is his future.

Agree 100%. He should be like Jessie Palmer or David Pollack & assume one of these analyst roles - easy money. What is the point in him going to the CFL, Arena league or auditioning for the backup on some NFL team? At best he will hold a clipboard in the NFL for minimal wages. He needs to strike while the iron is hot & collect his money via TV & other sources. Even if he is terrible in this role he will make lots of cash & get the chance to promote his causes.

He should just become a preacher now and get it done and over with.

What do you mean "deserves"? This is the NFL. If you are good enough you will get your chance. He is flat out not good enough to play well as an NFL QB. He was a part of one fluky season with the Broncos where all of the bounces went his way & the defense pulled them through in spite of his horrid mechanics. Otherwise - he is no different than any number of failed Heismann Trophy QBs who could not make it in the NFL. Doesn't make him a bad guy in any way - just not an NFL QB.
