That surprises me. I thought he was pretty much black balled.

Can only see it if he is willing to play TE.

Seems especially odd given the Patriots disdain for media and everything that comes with Tebow. Even if you think he can contribute in some manner ( which I do ) NE seems like the LAST place that would sign on for this. UNLESS they are just basically going to stonewall the media at every turn.

Wasn't that where Tom Brady started out when he signed with the Patriots? You probably didn't think he was going to amount to much either when he signed.

Speechless. Utterly and completely speechless. I started to think that it was Belichick making a defensive move by assuring no one in the division gets him but that theory falls apart when you snap back to reality and realize that we're talking about Tim Fucking TEBOW!!!

:wtf2:

Seriously, though, I liked how this team was looking but it's clear now BB has gone senile and needs replaced.

If he lines up as TE, there are going to be some DE and LB wanting, no make that CRAVING one good shot at the Jesus Freak and his sweet little smile.

Someone wake me up from this bad dream. This is going to be worse than Favre ever was.

I agree. Unlike the Jets, the Pats have enough weapons that they don't NEED Tim Tebow. I think he'll work out just fine.

It is understood that Tebow most definitely will not be a contender for the QB position. So that's not a media problem. Even if Brady struggles (VERY doubtful anyway) Tebow still will not play QB and there is no pressure on Bellichik to play him at QB.

Tebow will benefit the team as a 3rd string QB, backup player at TE and FB. He can also come into a game in a Wildcat situation only.

If I were a Pats fan I would be excited about this. Bellichik will not let Tebow's media attention hurt his team like the idiots in NY did.

If he takes Brady off the field for one play it's too much.

I'm sure that is what teams thought when he took the Broncos to the playoffs. I'm sure that is what Pitt thought when he eliminated them from the playoffs.

The team was mediocre healthy and crippled by injuries.

Do you guys go to the same church or something? You honestly think he not only "took the Broncos to the playoffs" but "eliminated the Steeler from the playoffs?" Child, please.

I just had a thought. This must be a true rock bottom for Vince Young than an NFL team would sign Tim Tebow before they'd sign him.
