I think they would be 8-0. Brady was horrible in both of their losses. Luck would also have them at 8-0 right now. Tannehill probably has them at 7-1 because he can lead clutch drives against the Bengals.

Thoughts?

So you are saying that players play better in wins then they do in losses?

This is starting to feel like the ESPN board all over again. Every other thread is either a Patriot, or Brady hate thread. I understand guys, I'm a hater too, but my reasoning is justified being a Dolphins fan lol. I can understand trolling from time to time, but this really does get old after a while. There's so many other things we could be discussing.

It's all good. Let's talk about Tannehill. I really like the guy. I don't hate the Dolphins - I actually miss the days when the rivalry was with the Dolphins and about football. Now it seems that the rivalry is about Jets / Pats hatred. (of course, nobody likes the Pats except Pats fans.)

Tannehill has been a lot better than I expected. I've always been behind him and rooted for him, but in the back of my mind I was like,"Ok, when is this guy going to bum it up and be out the league?" But he's been the one thing keeping our offense afloat this year. I'm very happy with him at this point and think that we should build around him. He really does look like a franchise QB now.

And of course you don't hate the Dolphins. We haven't been a consistent challenge to you, so there's no point in hating us. Its like hating your little brother.

Back in the Marino days, the Dolphins were great and the Patriots were.....not great? We always had great games. A few years ago I drove Miami to watch a Pats/Dolphins game and the Dolphins won 11-0.
To make matters worse, turns out the Dolphins cheated! I still didn't hate the Dolphins.

Did ESPN open their boards back up, then re-close them? We are getting a lot of trollish threads started lately.

I was a kid when Marino retired, so I missed most of that. Ever since then, the Patriots have been consistently better. Even when we've gotten lucky and beaten you, you still win the division 9 times out of 10.

Off the top of my head? I can think of 25 QBs who'd have that team at 7-1 in that paltry division and about a dozen who'd have them at 8-0. It's a testament to Belichick and the Pats D that they keep winning in spite of Brady's underwhelming performance this season.

Well givin that Brady has the least to work with I'd say they'd do worse. Give Brady jimmy graham and the saints receiving core. Give him the broncos receiving core give him the packers offense. Do you see where this is going? Brady does more with less year after year and makes shit into gold. Take a step back and look at the big picture.

Brady has the falcons offense minus roddy white and Julio jones. Brady is 6-2 and Ryan is irrelevant.

Miami is the kind of team that can beat anyone soundly on any given Sunday, no matter if they are having a good season or not. The one constant is that they seem to always field a solid D. They haven't had a decent QB since Marino. And, Huizenga was a horrible owner IMO, he couldn't do it with Marino and Jimmy Johnson, he was a Jerry Jones of sorts, always in the way and did not let the coaches or players do their job.

He'd be fine if IntelliLink would stop sending him Ike Brofslovski's constipation medication!

Conjecture is neat!
