I think keeping Tebow is a good move.

As more teams utilize the read option and mobile QBs it is becoming necessary to have a guy that can run the scout team that has similar abilities.

Tebow is clearly not better than Brady or Mallet but he could become very important at practices.

jd... true its good to have someone able to run the scout team.. my question is at what cost do you keep him.. there are a couple of people on the roster that played qb.. it was edelman wasnt it.. that was turned into a ST/WR i think he would be able to handle it.. it all depends on depth..

Great thought. And he does have skills where he could make it on the field. He has to get being QB out of his head.

That is a good point just have to question if it's worth a roster spot.

Edelman may not be a better option if you actually wanted to run it, but for scout purposes when all out tackling isn't as much of the priority, he does everything better than Tebow but plow people.

Regardless, that isn't worth a roster spot. If we cut someone who actually has a chance to play in the NFL so Tebow doesn't feel bad and can run a scout offense during practice, I will be extremely upset.
