Been watching the OL Combine

From my seat, Will Campbell looks small and doesn't seem to have very quick feet. Although his 10 yard speed was 17.65 mph. His official arm length measurement was shorter than expected at the combine 32-5/8".

On the other hand, Kelvin Banks TEX is a monster. 6'5-1/2" 315 and he's fast as steam. They showed some of his game films and live he's equally impressive. I think I'd take him at #4 without a second thought. Arm length is officially 33-1/2"

I don't know how far he'll drop but OG Joe Huber WAS is a guy I'd snag in a breath if he was around in the fourth round.

Grey Zabel has taken the top score overall with a 91. 9'6" broad jump and third highest Vertical Jump all time 36.55 Inches.
Cambell still had a solid work out. The concern with Banks was injury not potential, if the Pats don't see the injury as an issue cool. Either way I want to see LT at number 4 or 6 or wherever if we trade out. If the Pats, see these two as 1a and 1b that may allow more trade negotiation on draft day.

Personally I still think Campbell is the top prospect in this draft and the arm length is being blown out of proportion.

All things being equal, Membo, Banks and Zabel will all be available at #6 through #10 so trading down shouldn't be an issue.

My guess would be that Campbell is going to be a guard and because of that arm length, he might fall.

Imagine this..................Patriots trade down to #6 and pick up a third and sixth. Then trade the #6 to the Bears for #10 and #41.

At #10 the Patriots are able to get Grey Zabel an now have #38 and #41 in the second and #69, #72 and #73 in the third. They could do a lot of wheeling and dealing with those five picks and build up draft capital next year or get a second late first round pick this year and get a RT or LG.

Zabel is projected at IOL but projects to be a beast on the inside. Having a great combine work out sure helps but again I want the Pats to consider level of competition he has faced. If the Pats feel IOL is a greater need than LT or feel the can get LT at 41 or via FA then heck yeah. Imagine this if the Pats land a quality LT in FA then take Grey at 10 and next selection best Edge or DT that addresses a lot of issues.

NE is in a good place if they do anything in FA. The options are endless.

I agree 100% if the Pats, IMO can secure a LT and Edge maybe CB or WR in FA, before the draft, there is no reason they should not crush this draft

I know safety isn't a big need...but damn I like this kid.

Who cares if he has little hands.

Safety is a need though. He has a lot of potential it becomes a matter of will he be there after we fill other needs. I would take S before a #2 CB personally

BigKen as GM scares the hell out of me!
