Imagine a Big 12 schedule and Penn St., Pitt, Maryland and VA TECH. Yes, I mentioned four, after expansion.... That'll be a great schedule for our fans!!! When the playoffs expand to 6 or 8 (don't laugh, the NFL model is a 6 team per conference) That schedule would virtually guarantee a Big 12 championship WVU in there even with say an 11-2 or 10-3 record. I love it.

I would love it too. If the playoffs expand with power 5 champs getting an automatic bid and additional spots for wild card teams, everyone would want to play a tough schedule to bolster their RPI. Right now, many teams just look for the easy wins so they don't have losses that could take them out of the playoff. The goal is to go undefeated and you are in. That makes for patsy schedules and boring blowout games. I see this as the worst practice in college football.
