The comments from some were the reason I said ... let the controversy begin.

I liked this kid coming out of college and am happy he did well today. Saying he is better than (in some ways) than Wentz after a half of football in his first start is hilarious. Let the kid develop. Wentz was 10-13 against starters.

My hope is if Wentz doesn't work out the kid can become an good NFL starter but way to soon to say that now.

Just watched the replay. TH and Gibson looked awful. First TH, missing wide open WR's and air mailing balloons. He is not a starting QB in this league. Im so happy we did not go with him this year. I hope and pray Wentz stays healthy all year. 2nd AG, horrible short yardage runner. Can't move piles and of course, the fumbles. I hope there is a different plan with this year. Can't trust this guy between the tackles.

Im just commenting on the game. They were against the 2nd string and did squat. I know it's one game, but I expected a way better performance from those two.

and when wince and robinson stumble with a bad game and i pounce on them the tune you sing will be different because you like them .

they had bad games , that doesnt mean they are heading for the CFL . it doesnt erase what they have done here in real games

Agreed. Gibson was 2nd in the NFC with rushing yards in 2021 and now he needs to be benched or kicked off the team? Are you going to go after him like you did Cousins?


Speaking of Wentz, he looked ok against the 7th worst team in 2021. That is nothing to write home about. As much as I and the rest of the NFL do not like Wentz, we cannot send him to the bench just because he was relying on check downs and Howell outplayed him statistically. There is even a fan post on the general NFL board about how many games until Wentz gets benched that is active. No under 30-year-old QB in NFL history has started for three different teams in 3 straight years other than Wentz. That being said, we shouldn't bench him immediately or kick him off the team.

I am waiting for the Howell hate from you since you will view him as a threat to Wentz and start the smear campaign.

I did not want TH to start at all for us this season. I knew we would draft an RB b/c I dont think the team is happy with AG.

Gibson is a good back but he has had problems with fumbles, injuries not having burst or breaking tackles like he should

I have to agree with dad, it seems like some Gibson hate is going around. I like BRob but it was 4 carries. Yes, Gibson has to watch the fumbles but you can't erase what Gibson has done in two NFL seasons. If BRob is the better back it will work itself out over time. You don't cut a productive player because another guy had 4 good carries.
