Tons of speculation on what exactly happened there, Tallon took the majority of the heat, but he did a fine job re-building the Hawks (okay, Toews and Kane were lottery picks, but he found Duncan Keith outside of the first round).

My feeling is Bowman gave Tallon the shaft and took his job because of it. I don't think dale got enough credit from some of the media after the hawks cup win. He basically was a forgotten man but as you said largely responsible for building that team.

Can you tell i never was a Scotty fan????? Stan is guilty by association...
