The Broncos just lost by 50 and come to Soldier Field as 2.5 point favorites on Sunday. That tells you all you need to know.

Only 2.5 faves......??.......thats it......??

Damn,we are better than I thought.

Yep. A team that lost by 50 is a 2.5 point favorite on the road the very next week.

Every time something really ridiculous like this comes up, it's always us. Always.

Longest losing streak in franchise history.

Franchise QB's with 39 passing yards.

Giving up 25 points plus on defense for the last 20 games or whatever it is.

Playing at home vs. a team that just gave up 70? Underdogs.

I mean...I just wanna be normal sh*tty at this point. Not historically inept. But no.

Having two high picks would massively benefit the franchise.
Agreed.
IF those 2 picks actually want to come here and play.
Eli didn't want to play in San Diego. Elway didn’t want to go to Baltimore.

We have both 1 and 2...........

Not sure Im happy with us being one of those 2 picks are not,but it is what it is.

Bears at Commanders.....
Carolina at Detroit........

Looks to be 0-5 for both of us.......

Teams with 1 win:
Jets
Pats
Cinncy
Den
LV
Giants
Vikes
Ari

Need to pull for these guys to get to 3 wins, cause Im pretty sure us and Carolina wont win that many.

If we get 1 and 2, we’re going to get our pick of the liter at QB, then trade back for more picks. Honestly, if Poles keeps accumulating picks like this, then at least the next guy will have a chance. IMO, under normal circumstances, GMs should get 3-4 years for the team to start improving. As for poles, I consider this his first year. He spent the first year tearing the team down and accumulating draft picks. This year we have some nice young pieces, but other than possibly linebacker and DJ Moore, we don’t really have any leaders on the team. We just traded them all. It’ll take experience or free agency to fix that. I don’t like losing, but right now, losing is good. If we still suck next year, he’s on the hot seat and gone the year after if it continues. We have to patient. We have been playing the long game and it just started. Give it time to build.

All of the sudden tanking is en vogue. I wonder why? After all like grey pubes say high picks don’t guarantee super bowls. (rolls eyes)

I don’t like to rely on “probably”. I prefer certainly.

I don't really worry too much about the upcoming rooks...but I did look at some pictures of the top QB's coming out.

Williams looks like a grown man. Like a guy that, after we destroy his career, he'll be like "Meh...I've seen some sh*t in my time...Just another notch in the belt. Keep on keepin' on."

dm_230930_fea_caleb_williams.jpg

Now that's no fun. No fun at all.

I want full despondency out of my QB's.

NOW this kid out of NC, Maye, though? Mmmm baby...I think he would pull off the *sitting on the Bears bench looking completely destroyed while pondering the question "How did I get here?"* QB look PERFECTLY.

I mean...Look at this kid:

eeree0wwm9hiqgunhkwa

Dude looks like a mix of Rexy/Jay/Mitch...Hell throw in a little Cade McNown into that goddamn mix for good measure.

Good Lord. Virginia is gonna pinch those cheeks baby. The fall is mighty Mr. Maye. Welcome to Chicago. That's our guy boys.

Well we got a win......

We are in the company of 8 other teams......

As of now we still have the no.1 via Carolina....
Where we stand as for the 2nd pick not sure of......

Bengals/Ari and Den/Jets play each other, two of them are coming out a winner......

Things still look good for the 1st and 2nd pick........even the 3rd pick would be a great consolation prize because most likley Drew Maye will be the 2nd pick.....

You’re the c untiest c unt that ever c unted.

Obsession. It’s not a good look.

And who’s tanking right now? Carolina just isn’t good. They’re actually trying to win games. 3 years into this conversation and you still don’t know what the word tank means.

If one of our first two picks ends up being a QB, that will have meant we're pretty much starting over from scratch yet again, and that would suck big time. So suffice to say I'm hoping by season's end the subject of which QB to take will be non existant. Shit, I'm even hoping Mooney finally steps it up so that even WR isn't in the conversation, altho I suspect it will be. Under ideal conditions, it would be great if our two 1st rounders are taken from the trenches. Last night was encouraging as far as our pass rush was concerned, but no doubt our top need, unit-wise is on the DL and specifically the pass rush. That's the position I plan on following with the collegiate games in greater detail than usual.
