There is a lot of talk about Palmer on Twitter right now. Adam schefter says there are people who think he'll be back next week.
How would it "force" his hand? Makes no sense. The team is well under the cap and can afford him.
You think MB cares about the circus it would create? The same guy who brought on Owens last year with Ocho?
Palmer comes back it forces nothing. I think nothing more would please MB than to smile at Carson and say "Welcome back" and be "right" about not trading him.

It's not the cap. It's the 11.5 million out of MB's pocket...
And that is the sad part. Brown and his cronie fans (I'm looking at you Crash) would talk about how Brown won and Carson lost. They don't realize that the only real losers here are the fans.
Palmer: With Dalton drafted as his replacement all but assures he'll be traded next offseason.
Brown: Salvages his ego.
Fans: Get to watch a circus. Watch Palmer under center take away any chance of a top pick with little to no expectation of making the playoffs.
This is only the case if Palmer is on the bench. Brown will have Palmer start, and that's the end of it. As far as he's concerned, he has lost nothing.
We've talked about how Palmer will have his contract guaranteed if he returns by September 9th.
What does it mean if he comes back say September 10th? The Bengals can refuse to pay him?
