Who are the better options?
Roach, Martin and Wieland all sucking nuts in Tacoma. Sampson has been good but doesn't have any MLB experience and the biggest problem is he's not on the 40 man.

I agree and to some extent, this has nothing to do with experience. It has to do with what's best available and it was Paxton. Paxton at 27 doesn't need more time in the minors... Its about whether he can make it or not in the big league. If he's still there it just means he sucks and it says a lot about the farm system if they can't find anyone better than him.

I usually record the game since I don't get home til 8:30 or so, I can usually ffwd through the game, watching the innings where there is action. I'm caught up tonight in the 5th.

Paxton got shelled by a bottom tier MLB offense in a very pitcher friendly park. A lot of the runs were unearned, but Paxton committed the error so it's still pretty much on him. Not a lot to be hopeful for from him I'm afraid. I know it's just one start, but I'm not holding my breath on Paxton.

So glad we had to give up our cable. I would have been seriously PO'd with the lack of performance here. Though remember one thing:
