Again the D was not great in a big game. Didn't end up the reason they lost, but they need to do better.

We all know about their issues at the plate. Some days it will cost them.

How much longer can we justify Winker playing in the field everyday? Every single game he turns at least one single into a double.

If he's not gonna hit RHP then I really dont see his purpose, he has 1 XBH since August 17 which is roughly a months worth of games.

Trammell might not hit much but he can field a lot a better so just run with a Haggerty/Trammell platoon out there and you will get more value night in and night out. If you want Winker's 0/3 with a walk stat line your lineup everyday fine, but make sure its at DH at least so he's not killing your defense.

This is mid September, you are what you are. He's gonna all of the sudden find it
