I wouldnt mind seeing Tanguay in the lineup for Nodl

i think tanguay just needs a jolt of energy from a solid team.. he's been a solid performer in the past on some good teams, and he wont have expectations to live up to

Team is a -55 in goal differential when last I checked (maybe 1 or 2 games played since I checked), but Testwuide is only -5. He's a monster on the PK, as we saw in the preseason, and has NHL size at 6'3'', 210. There is no reason he can't be Shelley's playoff replacement.

He's a really accurate shot, so only 2 goals surprises me. But he's playing on the 3rd line of a team with four 3rd lines so I'm not too concerned. Four fights.

From what Paddock said they want NHL vets not rookies this is why they'll look for some added depth in case of injury....you don't want to take any chances when your on a cup run and I agree.

I also think this player will fill a role either PK or faceoff guy...tanquay may be too soft and doesn't do either. Of course it would be nice to find a guy who could outscore a guy like Nodl though...Glencross could as well as Burnette. I guess we'll see.

Brunette is the only player I would like to see added, great pp person and great 2 way player.. Tanguay was playing with Iginla when in calgary and still couldn't do shit.. Brunette is a Lappy type of veteran who can also score.. Think Knuble!

Very true Ander, he is a great net presence at 6'1" 210 he is pretty good size and scrappy down low.

i am not happy with nodl being richies partner, it looks like he has hit the wall for players on their first year up in the bigs. hes slow. i think a few games scratch could help him, or maybe even the nice long all star break, we'll see.

I don't mind him being matched up with Richards, but I'm with you D....he looks like he could really use a break to regroup himself physically and mentally.
