Exactly. This hedges the $7M bet in case Dre doesn't play well enough for the Bengals' Defense to have had to rely on him in 2016. It buys the Bengals time to rebuild their CB's.

It makes the Dre signing a gamble worth making.

Free agent CB Leon Hall is visiting the Cowboys.

Hall visited the Cardinals on Monday. A slot-only corner at this point in his career, signing Hall would indicate Orlando Scandrick will play almost exclusively outside in his return from a torn ACL and MCL. The 31-year-old Hall is Rotoworld's No. 3 available corner.

Hall did a nice job in the slot last year, but it was pretty clear his best days are far behind him. His speed, or lack of, should be a real concern. Especially when you consider blowing out both Achilles over the past 3-4 years.

Shaw showed enough that he may already be projected as a nickle or dime player, depending of course how things work out with Dennard's recovery.
