Two times Oregon had odd games against them at Autzen.

One being played in a literal typhoon. Most rain I’ve ever seen by far.

Then several years ago there was a power outage that delayed the game for nearly an hour.

What's there to say? That freak storm was so bad it made headlines on CNN with over 1,250 lightning strikes.

While losing 40k fans with a 2.5 hour delay on a 7:30pm game start certainly favored the road team, both had to get started again and play.

Would love to just give Cal credit, but the worst aspects of that game came down to the defense not tackling and not staying in their assignments. The youth in the front 7 showed big time. Well that, and 6 dropped passes. I'm not saying Eason had a great game because he didn't, but those receivers were absolutely horrible and those drops were frequently without a defender draped on them.
