If it weren’t Gubrud, I wouldn’t like this at all. We can’t turn into Oregon where we only go after grad transfers but he is a really, really good player who’s mobility could be a key into stopping a 3 man rush that has killed us the past 2 years.

It was funny when the ducks became desperate enough to have to keep taking grad trans for QB's because they supposedly had the recruiting chops to not have to go that route. It makes perfect sense for WSU to go after the top transfers. Harder to get the top young talent there and that offense is advanced enough to need a lot more experience.

That's not turning into Oregon. But it helps keep the pressure up on the current Oregon squad and the rest of the north.

I’d agree to a point but I’d rather he finally get one of his “big recruit” QB’s and have them develop with the receivers like Falk did with Marks and Cracraft. Had Minshew had that with any of those receivers in the Apple Cup most likely wouldn’t have been scared to death throw it in the snow.

You had Minshew and now possible Gubrud. so if it happens you had the same amount as oregon.

sorry nothing for Oregon to be ashamed of either. Adams wanted to come. so he did and did well and if it werent for his injuries oregon would have done better than they did.
Prukop was a miss. but it gave Herbert more time to develop. you guys can keep trying to make it a bad situation but but honestly i still dont see it. 2 in 2 years. 1 worked well 1 didnt and didnt even finish the year. NBD. not losing sleep.
