Yes and no. I'm still unclear if he turned USC down or what the heck actually happened. Pat Haden was the AD at the time and said they mutually decided that USC wasn't the right fit for Petersen and vice versa.

I'm pretty sure OD is right that Petersen turned down Washington once before. Petersen turned down pretty much everyone at one time or another when he was at Boise. lol

The admin issues don't have anything to do with the football program, so that shouldn't really have any bearing on it. It's more a matter of...do they want to be conducting a coaching search and President search at the same time?

They have something to do with it, maybe not much, but I’d imagine coaches might have a little interest in at least knowing who their AD’s boss is. But for sure, like you said, more than that, on the other end it’s probably something they would rather not deal with at this point. I doubt an interim President is wanting to sign off on a multimillion dollar salary hire.

Well he made 12 straight and has been good from that distance all season. I actually would have bet on him missing that kick if i had the chance. Being Arizona football that's just how the story goes. BTW how did that snap and place look on the kick? I couldn't see it from my angle of the stadium. It looked like the kick went wide rght from where i was sitting.

Didn't see any issues with it in real time. I'm sure someone will find something wrong with it in a replay though. IMO kicker just pushed it too much.

Colorado, USC, and Arizona all lost today and end their season below .500. That leaves 7 teams that qualify for bowl games unless any of the Pac's 5-7 teams have high enough APR to be offered a participation award and get into some back ass bullshit bowl.

The 7 that qualify are everyone in the north except the beavs (rip) and both Utah and ASU from the south.

We kept the Cup and improve our Bowl situation 7-5 is a good record for a team that were supposed to be bottom feeders. I am so glad we humiliated the Cats at Arizona Stadium. They got a little too cocky and the Devils Beardown!
