i'll say this about the hof debate: at no point in his career did i watch ozzie thinking "damn, we're watching a hall of famer," but in the end, say what you want about him playing for a stacked team, about longevity,etc, the numbers are pretty fuckin good. slow and steady wins the race?

i won't be heartbroken if he doesn't get in, but i won't say he doesn't deserve it either.

Reasons why he shouldn't be in:

He played in front of a really good team, you know, like Marty Brodeur or Ken Dryden*
Dan Cloutier beat him in a playoff series
Barry Melrose thinks he should be in the HHOF
