We had a little baby-related scare yesterday and I left work to go to the emergency room. I'm happy to report that my wife is fine, the baby has not been born, and we are back on schedule.

Time flies and they grow up fast and before you know it, they are driving, then at college and out of the house. Then you sit and wonder..where the fuck did the time go?

That 7 days a weeks stuff gets old. I've got so used to a 3 day weekend that I don't know if I would take a job where Friday was a scheduled work day much less Saturday or Sunday.

I like getting my 48 hours in by Thursday and if we do have to work Friday, it's all time and a half.
