I'll take the 8 good months.

Besides, it could be worse. I could be living anywhere but Texas...

there are things I miss, Gruene Hall in New Braunfels for one, good TexMex , being able to make a run to Austin on occasion to laugh at the texas students on 6th street

Those qualities are what makes you a great poster. I appreciate the addition of other division rivals on the skins board. Too bad most don't there. I'll do what I can to make it easier for you 2 to post on the skins board... Some uptight dudes on my board. Drives me batty at times. I'm not interested in having a mini 'extremeskins' . So boring, everyone always blowing the same drum beat...

I miss the banter greatly from back at Disney days amongst division rivals and posters. That's why I was so glad to see some NFCE posters come aboard from FN. Guess I'll get my back and forth dialog in these threads.
:suds:

My hope is that both teams get good soon so the banter has teeth.

"My team sucks more than yours" gets old.

you mean other than all those damn Baptists?

What's to complain about living in paradise? Except for Jan/Feb/July and August?

you do get that one week of fall weather tho, usually about mid-December?

I see.

Seems like it would be a hard state to live, especially during a hot summer. Was there in Houston, opening a restaurant during summer. People amazing, weather sucked.

No, not far. But there is a Baptist college here in Brownwood. Howard Payne.

damn, hadn't heard that one in awhile, almost took an academic scholarship to Howard Payne out of high school. decided to take less scholarship to go to A & M then figured out how much I hated Chem E

we are nothing if not polite, you learn to deal with some of the redneck mentality and then it really is a great place to live. spent all but the last 14 years in the Houston area and loved it

Word. :pound:

Maybe this will be the year of the true turnaround for my skins. Lord, I say that every year...:L

The thing is, there is hardly ANY fun banter. It sucks. It's all teeth between most skins/boys posters.

Tho I do poke the stick, as diplomatically as possible, as often as I can. Trying to rep the good old days, best I can :D

Houston is only begrudgingly accepted into Texas.

But most Texans try to avoid it. NO is better if you want the heat and humidity, at least they have good food.

One of the few places in the country where a guest apologized for finding his steak cooked too well. I laughed. Especially after Boca guests.
