I did a long distance thing with a great woman who was transferred to Charlotte. Some beautiful country out there.

But I smelled gators.

They're fairly rare around these salt water creeks. They are out there in some places but they seem to be more concentrated inland a little where the water is brackish.

OK, I thought it was fresh water. I don't think the salt water crocks are too common in your area.

I would be watching for snakes around here though, Cotton Mouths/Water Moccasins are pretty common here in TX.

If that is for someone's house I think I'd just get a house closer to the water. Or a skiff. That is one long ass dock.

It's a community dock and yes, it fairly long. I think we have about 295 feet down so far. About another 75-80 feet to go.
