That is the other benefit of the bye. Got to hand it to Big Ben - going back into the game - watch in on the sidelines and you could see he wasn't using his R. Arm for anything - even pointing - scratching his butt - or combing his hair - yet he moved them down the field - until the Bungles decided to cede the last 30 yards.

I was very concerned about A. Brown - he was completely knocked silly - I'm happy and surprised he got up.

You gotta love how the Steelers play the game.

Good point. Better to let players recover than to get them injured.

Uncle! I give up! Go Broncos. When you get to the fork in the road that points to the easy path or the hard path, chose wisely as it will mold who you are destined to become. :)

When you come to the fork in the road - take it.

Friggin Seattle gets so lucky. Cannot believe he missed that fg. Would of been nice to see Seattle out of equation. Damn, I feel bad for those Viking players. They played a great game and had that win right in their grasp. Ugh! couldn't be more expressive. :)

Me too. My mom was from Minnesota and was a default Vikings fan, and I have a lot of relatives from there, so I have a soft spot for those lovable losers. I felt the FG miss coming.

Similar to 1998

Everything is lining up for a repeat of history - the legendary QB rides off in a storybook ending after beating the team that squeaked by Minnesota

Plus I really wish the Seahwaks were sitting the playoffs on the sidelines.

What I learned this weekend is that "nothing is for certain " and when its your time to make the one play for your you better make it or your team loses or may lose

Walsh missing an extra point , Hill with the fumble , Desean Jackson not getting in early with the ball in the wrong hand, Hoyer failing to score early and throwing a pick.

Playoff games aren't won more than they are lost.

Bring on Big Ben.

what i noticed- Starting losing QBs:
Hoyer
McCarron
Bridgewater
Cousins

Some good, some not so good but none had ever started a playoff game before.

I wouldn't necessarily pin the Bengals loss on McCarron .. a 65 yard FG is a lot harder to hit than a 35 yarder

Burfitt is an idiot but he did make the interception that should have won the game and also took Big Ben out on a perfectly legal hard tackle.
What would have been a classic had he not been down by contact and ran the wrong way for a safety after his INT.

Just sick for the Vikings and their fans. Ugh.

Especially after Walsh dead centered 3 longer kicks in the game.

He looked surprisingly stoic in his post game interview. I'd be puking my guts out. The life of a kicker.....

Yep, going into this past weekend the away teams had QBs with 37 post-season starts. The home had 0 starts.

Those were some of the craziest ends to games I have seen in a long time. Man I was pulling hard for the Vikings to eliminate the Seahawks. I mean is there a luckier team in the NFL? Last year they get the onside kick against the Packers to win the game. This year they need a kicker to miss a kick that is hardly ever missed and it happens! I will be pulling hard for the Panthers to make things right in the universe.

One major issue I see with young QBs including Brock is they take way too many sacks that take the team out of really good scoring opportunities. This would not be the case with Manning assuming we get in really good scoring positions.

You forgot that 2pt conversion that Wilson just thru up in the air and somehow completed. Kind of like that play yesterday that he threw after ball sailed past his head on snap. Unbelievable. That team has gotten more luck given them in the history of the NFL! :)

Except for how they lost last year's Super Bowl. Heh?
