I hope Ben's arm falls off tonight. But, if it did, they'd probably just sew it back on and he'd be good to go by Sunday.

The Steelers could be playing without Antonio Brown, he suffered a nasty concussion on that last play and we know the league likes to hold people out of games just to be safe.

Right now it is the playoffs. I don't care how we win but just have to go out and win. If that means injuries are part of the narrative then so be it. Obviously don't wish injury on any player but I can promise you no team out there is feeling sorry for another for missing key players

Usually not a good sign when the coach just minutes after the game is over already is saying that Antonio Brown has a concussion. Usually they like to wait and run a few more tests before announcing such a thing. Like I said before man that looked bad.

Go figure - Burfict and PacMan on the same defense - and things go wrong - who would have thunk it? Bengals - Epic Bungle.

Well Roethlisberger after the game said he could barely throw the football. Looks like they figured the legend of Big Ben was enough to back the Bengals up and let him throw those quick 5 yard passes in the hopes they could move fast enough down the field.

It certainly works out well for us. Because the Steelers were able to pull it out, we avoid facing the hottest team in football (Chiefs) and get to face either a backup QB or a QB with a hurt throwing arm. I don't wish injuries and have a lot of respect for Big Ben, but I'm very happy that our game next week is looking less difficult. I know we still have to be on top of our game though!

Wow. Bengals just imploded there at the end of the game. And their drought continues.....
I'll be stunned if Marvin Lewis isn't fired quickly. You can't have a coach that can't control his players. The guy is a disgrace of a head coach!

Oh I agree. I"m kind of excited to see the Chiefs and Patriots duke it out. Again another game that has 2 very physical teams going at each other. To me it is a win/win of either we face a division rival in the Chiefs for chance to play in the Super Bowl or get a chance to take down the defending Super Bowl champs. Obviously have to get past the Steelers first which even with a banged up Big Ben is no easy task.

I think Chiefs are a tough matchup for NE. Pitt will be tough regardless.

I think things worked out perfectly for the Broncos, they don't have to beat the Chiefs and Patriots now. With Roethlisberger not at 100% and Brown seemingly out they should easily beat the Steelers at home. I think the Pats edge out the Chiefs and if they do i'll be a Broncos fan during the AFC Championship game!

I hope you are right! We definitely could be catching some breaks with the injuries. I also do think that defense matters so much more than offense in the playoffs which is why I do think of the possible match ups (I don't think any of us actually thought the Texans would win but were more hoping) we could have had for this round the Steelers were the better choice. I do have to give it to the Chiefs as they are a hot team right now and honestly I give them the edge against the Patriots as the pass rush of the Chiefs is going to be something Brady wants nothing to do with. Could be an All AFC West Championship!

The last time the Chiefs and Pats played, it was 41-14 .. Andy Reid's first career win vs Belichick

KC could pull it off again . . . And this would hopefully get Manning in the "make things right" frame of mind

Yeah maybe you guys are right. Be great if Ben and Brown couldn't play. That would give Denver huge advantage and easy win at home. Hopefully KC will take out Brady and Edelman and another key player or two but lose game and we get NE at home missing those players, piece of cake. Now all we need to hoist that satisfied hard earned Lombardi is the NFC Champ to lose their Qb and BAM! We win!!! Yay! Nothing else matters, who cares what everybody says about how we got there. I'm with you guy's!! Who cares. Injuries happen. Whoo Hoo PLAYERS are just like us. They don't want to play the best and beat the best! Hell No! Just give em the trophy, that's all that matters to them too. What was I thinking. Glad I got my priorities fixed.

It is not that they don't want to play the best but it is more they are not going to cry over the fact that possibly Big Ben and Antonio Brown could be out for the game...

I mean do you think anybody cried over the fact that we have 2 3rd string Tackles starting for us right now? Do you think anybody cried over the fact that Manning has played with a foot injury possibly all season?

Our Super Bowl year do you think the Seahawks fans or players say "Yeah we won but the Broncos were missing 9 starters on defense when we played them so it isn't as satisfying of a win." No in the end no matter who we play if we win we have earned it and move on. If we win and every team we play has their starting QB go down right before we play them 5 years from now nobody is going to say "You guys got so lucky to win the way you did."

Yeah I do feel like the Broncos maybe got a lucky break with the injuries but we still have to go play the games. Heck both Big Ben and Brown could be healthy come Sunday and that is fine too. Whether they are there or not to me it doesn't take away from the win one bit.

Haha, love the comments on this thread.

Is it wrong to hope that Big Ben had a dislocated shoulder or broken collarbone? Because that is exactly what I was thinking.

However, I think we can beat the Steelers even if they have all hands on deck.

Love the AFC matchups next weekend.

That Steelers-Bengals game was everything I hoped it would be. Lots of big hits and memorable plays in that one. Great game.

I don't wish injury on anyone but care less who is on the field for any other team. Just win baby.

We catch huge breaks if Ben and or Brown is unable to play. They both tore us up a few weeks ago. I'm all for catching lucky breaks. Certainly beats getting the unlucky draw.

That is the other benefit of the bye. Got to hand it to Big Ben - going back into the game - watch in on the sidelines and you could see he wasn't using his R. Arm for anything - even pointing - scratching his butt - or combing his hair - yet he moved them down the field - until the Bungles decided to cede the last 30 yards.

I was very concerned about A. Brown - he was completely knocked silly - I'm happy and surprised he got up.

You gotta love how the Steelers play the game.
