IMO, the big FA signings each year haven't panned out nearly as often as they have fallen on their faces. Maybe I'll go back and look at how the top FA from the last 5 years did after they changed teams. Suh for example was piss poor last year. So the fact we haven't been players for the top 10 FA's is alright with me. Let's get serviceable B-level guys in here and not destroy our cap room.

Do teams have a part of their cap put on hold for draft picks? We should have a lot of picks this year, and I know we won't have roster space for all of them but we need money to sign all that we want.

When you have teams like JAX that have got to spend or violate the CBA, stupid contracts will exist. What sucks for their fans is that those contracts won't yield much return.
