I cheered for Ott on their run (Ott are the anti-leaf)
I think I cheered for Mtl in 93, that run of 10 OT wins was something to see
Did NOT cheer for Cal, though they were startign to win me over with the Red Mile antics.
Did NOT cheer for Edm, and Whyte Ave did not have the same panache*.

I don't care if the rest of Canada is cheering for us, though I sincerely hope dash's family is giving him a rough time.

lmao... I dont legit follow any Western team, but I favor them due to the Nordiques. Honestly, outside of my team, I am just a fan of players. I am by no means a Kings fan, but I like Quick and Doughty a lot. I like Pavelski on the Sharks. Fuck Anaheim. Fuck Dallas. Red Wings have a ton of guys I enjoy watching play. Vancouver as well. More of just a player admiration than really rooting for a team to me.

Sabres are #2 for me in the League next to my Canucks. believe you me Id be eating Buffalo steaks should we ever meet in the playoffs but otherwise I really like that team. maybe it changes for me if either A. Chris Pronger* plays for them or B. after we play them

for me that happened two fold in the year we played the Blues 2 series ago and we won in 7. I always grew up loving that Logo and that team. something about it way back in the day that really had me liking it. I think thats what bothered me with teh Avs

- I love sakic
- I love that Ray got a ring (I wish it was in Boston in 90 but it is what it is)
- I HATE that they retired Rays jersey there. fuck really.........
- I HATE that fucking 96 team and fucking Claude on Draper
- I HATE PIERRE FUCKING LACROIX
- I have not met one of their fans on here but I HATE THEM AT THE PEPSI CENTER
- I HATE that the only reason they have 2 cups is that because Roy would never ever fucking NEVER been traded to Quebec if they stayed there.
- I HATE FLOPPA sO FUCKING MUCH
- they once employed Darcy Fucker and for that... well I HATE THEM

falconski is a Avs fan and Superflyer is a Flyers fan first, Avs fan second

I would definitely not cheer for Montreal, Vancouver or Ottawa. I cheered for Edmonton a bit in 2006, but hated them back in the 80's. I cheered for Calgary in the finals, but that was only because all my Canuck fan friends and family hated 'em.

I'd have to say my "fav" Western team is the Avs. I liked the Whalers and the Nordiques as a kid. So I can truly root for them in the postseason if the Bruins were out. I couldnt get as passionate as I would for the Bruins, but close.

Like I said it was more a player thing. It was cool to see Ray win a cup. I liked them in their early stages cause I liked the Nordiques. But, I dont really root for the "team" anymore. Just players in the West.
