not seeing any indication that okie state or lsu lose before the championship, especially not with a neutered ou
for reasons that only God knows the Big XII is loved by the computers. That and the desire for most to not see a rematch along with OU's chance to be on a big stage the same day that the rest of us are playing CCG (since the BIG XII was smart enough to drag out the season for an extra week) all work in OU's favor.
If you watched tonight you saw the "experts" saying they don't understand the OU loss. They'll just call it an anomaly and vote them in.
Game this year is Big XII vs SEC. It might as well be written in stone.
yeah i saw that. robert smith was making excuses about the game being delayed as a potential reason for their loss. bottom line is they lost to an unranked team, at home i believe?
Nobody wants a rematch and just a few weeks ago, OU was the only team that could challenge LSU or Bama and when they beat OSU, everyone will feel that way, again.
Either that or I will be eating crow on this thread for the better part of the next year.![]()
fixed
yes but so the BIG XII has their last game that day too.
What used to hurt the PAC 10 was that our last game was the week before the CCGs so the voters last thing on their mind was the CCGs not the last game of the season.
Got to hand it to the BIG XII they circumvented that issue nicely.
Not having a CCG never hurt the Pac 10. USC played for the BCS title twice the last decade. Other than USC, the Pac 10 did not have a legit BCS title contender the last decade either.
When USC was undefeated they went. If they lost a game those with CCGs passed them.
Nice try.
The SECCG this year only serves as an obstacle for LSU to go to the NCG....
just saying....
That means a victory @ #2 Okie State will put OU into the #2 spot.

So much for OU being in the drivers seat......LOLOLOLOL
LoL, OU still moves up in the poll.
This is a speed bump but OU is certianly in the front seat of the vehicle at least, perhaps riding bitch.
