Oregon won't get in. Nobody wants a rematch.
Alabama. See Oregon.

That means a victory @ #2 Okie State will put OU into the #2 spot.

The only chance Alabama or Oregon have to make the title game is if LSU gets beat.

Lets go Tigers!

Yep, beating Okie St on the road without your best RB and WR puts you in the drivers seat

NO fucking way. Sorry pal, Oklahoma is out now. That loss to Texas Tech looks like an utter joke. Oregon with this smashing of #4 Stanford will boost the Ducks over Oklahoma in the BCS. WE control our own destiny compared to the sooners.

Even if Oklahoma beats OSU and jumps Oregon, I believe it will only be temporarily as the Big 12 doesn't have a CCG and the Pac 12 does. That extra game should be enough to let Oregon jump OU.

I don't know. Looking at your schedule you have had your big game and didn't jump far enough to make it. You have USC left who if ranked may be in the top 20 but likely would be between 20 and 25 somewhere maybe even lower.

Oklahoma has Okie Lite left who if they win gives them a strong win which likely will juggernaut them ahead of Oregon.

Okie Lite is really in the drivers seat. They have a good shot at beating an injured Oklahoma. Then no matter what else plays out they are in.

Your biggest hope is LSU loses, Okie Lite Loses and you get in against Oklahoma or Alabama. You need LSU & Okie Lite both to lose though. Your destiny is in the hands of two teams I don't think are likely to both lose.

Oh todays coaches poll:

1.LSU (59)
2.Oklahoma State
3.Alabama
4.Oregon
5.Oklahoma
6.Arkansas
7.Virginia Tech

P.S. Even in the above scenario it could end up Alabama and Oklahoma. You are really relying on the gods of fortune (or misfortune) to get you in.

No team that lost to TTU should be allowed a shot at the NC. Sorry but that's fucking laughable.

I agree but they shouldn't be in the top 5 either yet there they sit.

not really Oregon would play a team from the Pac-12 south, who that will be?? we don't even know because all the Pac-12 south teams keep losing, Arizona State just lost to Washington State and UCLA was pounded by Utah

a game against those weak teams won't help Oregon at all and in fact be more of an unnessessary risk to Oregon

there should never ever be a rematch either

Big 12 will promote that as a defacto championship game. That is the reason they moved it to December. All reg season games should be completed thanksgiving week, leaving the first week for championship games

Not sure why OU would even want to get to this game and get embarrassed again. OU would get destroyed by LSU. Go to a BCS game you can actually win, Sooners.

They can win? Well the fiesta is out then. Maybe the Orange against big east champ?

Will Texas have a winning season this year?

Granted it may not be against a very good team (especially since USC can't play in it), but if ASU wins out, they'll be 8-4. Beating a team with a winning record in a CCG does hold some weight, albeit, not a whole lot.

I believe it will come down to percentage points. Oregon's only loss at that point would be to the #1 team (assuming LSU wins out) while Oklahoma's would be to a team that will likely be .500 or below.

Still a lot of football to be played and nothing would surprise me if it went to shit.

I honestly think ASU is losing on purpose so they dont have to face Oregon again. You don't just lose to UCLA and Washington State on back to back weekends.

Which is sad, because it could very well mean we face a UCLA team that will be playing for either a Rose Bowl berth or NO bowl game.

Maybe they'll get lucky again and draw Uconn or something. But even their fans should know by now.....this team isn't good enough to beat LSU. Especially without their top RB and WR. Why would they ROOT to get embarrassed again???
