well, his team is terrible, but he's in the correct division for a playoff appearance it if Oakland falters.

This isn't something you see often in the NFL, so it'll be a couple weeks before teams get the best game plan to start locking down that run game. As Cowher said, it's a fine short-term fix, but it's no long term solution.

I didn't see it either, I was just looking at the stats. He had to pass 40 times to get those 300 yards, and only completed 50% along with 2 interceptions. It's not a horrible game, but imo not good enough to replace your starter.
