Adrian Clayborn would've had a sack / forced fumble, but they called a total bull shit helmet-to-helmet penalty on him.

Good for him. I think the injury will still give teams pause. Everyone knows he can play; the only question with him will be his ability to stay healthy.

Yeah but that isn't anything serious. Dislocated fingers are pretty common in football, usually it is set, taped and the player is back on the field. I've seen some pretty nasty ones in my day.

LOL! Patrick Peterson can play CB, WR and now QB.

This guy is Super Man, and Crabtree must be kryptonite.

Why is that ridiculous?

I had one of the worst offseasons as a fan in any sport I've ever followed. As a 49ers fan, several acquisitions that were made in the NFC West and to several Super Bowl contenders really bothered me a lot going into the year.

Arians to the Cardinals was one of the many things I didn't like seeing as a 49ers fan. What some teams were able to do in this draft made me sick and a number of those players are already off to good starts.

It even extended into some front office moves that were made by a number of teams. The 49ers losing Tom Gamble was one that made me want to cry. I'd get into everything else but it would be a pretty emotional post and I'd rather not get into it in this thread.

Stafford NEEDS play-action. The Lions have been using him too much in the shotgun the last two years. He's an i-Formation, play-action QB to the bone. If he has that, he's as good as anyone.

Speaking of, Stafford had the 13th most drop backs AND attempts out of play action last year. Some other ranks out of play action for him last year:

15th most completions
2 TDs (tied for dead last in the NFL among 26 qualifiable QBs)
4 INTs (tied for 6th most)
58.6% completion percentage (19th best)
774 yards (17th most)
7.3 YPA (21st most)
71.8 QB rating (25th best)

It'd be interesting to see where he'd stack up if you used his 2011 numbers.

Thomas fumbled for Denver, and none of the 3 Giants around the ball could pick it up! :gaah:

Is it just me, or are there a ton of injuries today?

There may be but I think what makes it even more noteworthy is the fact that many of them happened to some notable offensive skill players.

Sean Payton could drive a person completely mad sometimes if you're rooting for the Saints.

Knowshawn Moreno with his 2nd TD of the day. :mad2:

He also recovered Thomas' fumble.
