I don't want the Panthers to win, but that defenseless receiver penalty called against them in the endzone is so sad. Just sad to see anymore as a fan of clean, hard hitting.

If that was Whitner he would have been called for it, was clearly helmet to helmet, wish the refs could just be more consistent.

Allen again. 7 catches for 88 yards in the 1st half. He should have had a couple of big ones where he was open deep and Rivers either missed him or didn't see him.

I don't follow college football nearly as closely as some of the folks on this board, but I was shocked Allen fell to the third. When healthy, he was unstoppable in college. I'm ok with the trade up for Reid given his play, but Allen is without a doubt the guy I would have taken with that extra third round pick.

Absolutely ridiculous that he fell as far as he did, this guy is a future all-pro IMO. He looks like a perfect fit for this offense and Rivers. He can run the entire route tree including the deep stuff.

Cam had Ted Ginn for a LONG touchdown but just barely outthrew his arms. Beat the defender by a step or two. In fact, Ginn still had a chance at that one and many receivers probably would've made the catch.

Charles really needs to work on his vision, he misses lanes more often then any bigtime RB that I've seen.

Chargers just blitzed more people then I have seen and Chiefs hit Bowe for 22. They had to have sent 8 guys right there.

Jason Campbell looks concussed. I don't know if he'll return from that one in this game. He's been hurt 3 separate times now in the game.

Chiefs are going deep all day and Chargers just got hit with back to back PI plays.

Chiefs get the ball on the 1 and Charles lets a TD pass bounce right off his hands.

Charles just dropped a 2 yard TD catch in the flat. Wide open. Smith could've placed it a little lower but it was neck high and still should've been caught.

Another PI on the Chargers. They are really struggling to cover these Chiefs receiving threats. 3 of 4 plays have been PI on Chargers. Another one that would have been a TD.

Charles puts it in for the TD.

Revis questionable to return for the Bucs with a groin injury. I don't know if he's shadowed Calvin completely all day long but Calvin already has 6 for 94 and there's still half of the 3rd quarter to be played.

Yeah that is just a horrible drop, ball was right to him. It might have been better if it was more in his body but just a bad drop from Charles.

What do you think of all this pass interference? The Chargers are really struggling to cover these receivers, if I'm the Chiefs I keep going to the air.
