13:17 left in the 2nd quarter and Carolina has burned through their timeouts for the half. Also, they just challenged a 57-yard completion to Mike Wallace and lost that challenge. Mike Wallace has 2 catches now for 110 yards and 1 TD.

Also from that game. Ted Ginn has a 41 yard punt return. :( So sad he left.

Antonio Brown's physical development is really impressive, too. He looks much more built than when he came into the NFL. That was a knock many people had on him.

Hell of a grab by Jerome Simpson over Tramon Williams. 31-yarder. He's an idiot and I usually don't root for or advocate signing known idiots, but I kind of wish he'd be a 49er. He would have been right out of college if I'd have gotten my way, too.

Rich Eisen:

Brotherly help: Chris Long just tried to pull Kyle away from a fight in which he seemed fully engaged.

Sirius XM:

a nasty brawl has ensued in St. Louis between #Bears and #Rams

Chris Long actually came off the sidelines to do it, too. He wasn't in the game at the time. Wow!

About 3 minutes left in the 2nd quarter between MIN/GB and Tolzien doesn't have a completion in the 2nd quarter after his hot start. He's 0-5 and has been sacked once in the 2nd quarter.

9 sacks now for Muhammad Wilkerson. I don't know if he could've landed into a better situation for his development.

A beautiful deep throw by Alex Smith! A DEEP throw from Alex Smith! Wow. Right on the money for Avery. Just perfect in between two defenders. The safety over the top was a hair late but it was placed perfectly.

1st and goal from the GB 2 for Minnesota. In other words, Adrian Peterson TD if they don't go away from him. :) No reason why he shouldn't score from 2 yards out if you give him 3 or 4 chances. :)

One of his better deep throws you think? He has had his moments over the years where he shocks us with beautiful deep throws. The Chiefs the last two games have seem to put an emphasis on the deep passing attack and surprisingly Alex has handled this well.

Uh....oh. 3rd and goal upcoming. Peterson back-to-back carries and didn't score.

Yes. You could put it on a highlight reel of best throws for him. I was going to say that that's one for the highlight reel at the time but I held off. That was an area I was getting really excited about for him when Norv was around. Norv called him one of the best young DEEP passers he had ever seen. That's something that a lot of people don't remember.

Tolzien finally has his 1st and 2nd completions in the 2nd quarter alone and it came with under 1 minute to go in the half.

I think Rivers might of found his Vincent Jackson replacement. This Allen kid is special.

Allen again. 7 catches for 88 yards in the 1st half. He should have had a couple of big ones where he was open deep and Rivers either missed him or didn't see him.

Detroit has to be the most poorly coached team in the league given the talent they have.....bonehead plays all the time.

I don't want the Panthers to win, but that defenseless receiver penalty called against them in the endzone is so sad. Just sad to see anymore as a fan of clean, hard hitting.
