I would hate to see this drag out. Best guess on my part is they are probably apart on years and not money. Just my guess. Terry not willing to risk injury is smart on his part.

I get the Kirk comparison. We low balled him, but he played on one year deals in an effort to get out of town, not because he was trying to do the team a solid.

I have zero doubt this thing gets done. I just want it to be a scenario where there are no hard feelings. Terry is everything anyone could ask for.

If he's asking to be the top paid receiver in the game......that's where things could get sticky. He's not that. Hes nowhere close to that. He's in that top 10 to 15 range.

I don’t think he's dynamic enough to set the market. That said, this team goes nowhere without 17.

It has nothing to do with Cousins doing a solid, it has everything to do with fulfilling his contract. Sure he wanted out but the third time, the year he tore his Achilles he was in Minnesota.

Don't get me wrong, I like Terry a lot. I want him here but he is under contract so it is my opinion he should be there.

All that said no matter how much good we say about Josh, AP and DQ we are going to see more of this as the team gets better players. I won't like it then either.

Food for thought, Wagner is on his 2nd one year contract for about $9 million. Terry is not here when he has a signed contract for almost three times that. I'd say Wagner is as important as Terry but he is in camp.

We will have to agree to disagree. Just like Terry, Kirk wanted to be paid his worth so yeah, he took the one year deal here twice. Additionally Terry is under contract and not here. I have no doubt Terry will play this year but not without putting up his hissy fit.

I had no problem with Kirk. Wasn't a huge fan. There was a time where he really wanted to be here. Bruce just low balled him and he soured on the franchise and kept making them franchise him so he could leave.

When he rubbed Scot's hair and said "how you like me now" that was around the time Kirk really wanted to be here long-term and was frustrated they didnt believe in him.

I was just pushing back on the insinuation that he showed up as some sort of badge of honor and a team leader. He showed up to expedite his exit. Jmo
