My first care was a purple '99 Dodge Stratus. It didn't have a muffler, and the right front headlight was extremely frosted over. I totaled it in two months. That's when I was seventeen. I'm 22 now, and I've never bothered to replace it. I'll get a car when I have a Ph.D.

My mother gave me this when she 'upgraded' to a Hyundai around 1990.

A few months later some idiot made a left on red and I hit him destroying it. So then I got a 1991 Hyundail Excel:

Then I had a couple Nissan Sentras and now an almost 10 year old CRV.

I have never bought a used car either. My father sold cars numerous times in his life and always steered me away from used ones. Thats just his opinion which I guess I adopted, I know plenty of people who get great deals on used cars and have them forever.

1989 Chevy Corsica:

Pretty much looked like that except it was that shitty periwinkle blue paint that peeled so the roof and hood were all rusted. And the front driver side door was gray because some idiot backed into it and instead of totaling the car for the blue book value of $900 I bought a door from someone in Arizona and replaced it myself. And the hubcaps were long gone by the time I got the car.

The Chronology of my noble steeds (Starting in 1986 when I got my license):
- Learned to drive in my cousin's 1957 VW Beetle. Named Emily.
- Bought my own 1965 VW Beetle. They do float.
- Drove a hand me down 1970 Monte Carlo with a 396 (w00t!). Though it was technically my mother's car.
- Bought a 1979 Chevy Malibu Station wagon that some farmer put a 454 and twin Holley 750's in for some God Forsaken reason. I had it turning 10's in the quarter after tubbing it out and putting Mickey Thompsons on it. We called it the "Wonder Wagon". It was silver with one brown door.
- Ford Escort EXP. I called her Froggy.
- Dodge Shelby Daytona (My first new car).
- Dodge Intrepid (My first family car, and a HUGE mistake.)
- The aforementioned 99 VW Passat. Going on 12 years now...
