I like how the Euro press are acting like the "yanks", as they so lovingly refer to us as, were lucky. Well, i got news for them, and the limey's. They should be happy it wasn't 2-1 U.S.

Altidore had a chip-shot in front that, luckily for their majesties.. glanced off the post, and away. That was a shave from being GAME OVER for the brits.

Howard had one go by him that he had zero chance of saving. After that, he stone-walled any legit chance G.B. had. Tim is the backbone of this U.S. team, and he's a far better goalie that greenie. Any of those assholes in the euro press that don't realize that fact must be snorting too much shit up their noses.

The U.S. might not have as of solid of a defense in front of him, but Howard is playing some of his best game right now. And, we have plenty of firepower up front. Those two things combined make the Yanks very dangerous. It would be ignorant, but very typical of the Euro press and their masses not to recognize that.

Cameroon V Japan has been fantastic to watch. The Rising Sun's goal tender just made two fantastic saves in extra-time to seal it. First time Japan has won a World Cup Match outside of Asia.

He shouldn't have let it in, but he did. Green got extremely lucky Jose's shot hit the post the way it did. If that redirects straight out, or hits and goes in, we'd have sown up the monumental upset. The new futbol is hard to read in the air which way it's going to travel, and it's also hard to tell which way it's going to go after it bounces, so I cut green a little slack. But, there is no way Howard would have done something like that.

Ultimately, it just pisses me off the way the Euro media is treating our tie. They're acting like it's a gift, but outside of the first 5:00 of the game, U.S. dominated in pretty much every facet of the match.
