Just a note - Coulibaly was the 4th official during the New Zealand-Italy match today. It's an insult to America that this moron is still involved in refereeing for these games. The guy should be gone.

Seems the team is siding with Anelka in his profanity-laced assessment of coach Domenech.
I hope they absolutely come together in spite of the coach (they basically boycotted him).
France team director Valentin quit on the spot, French President Sarkozy has become involved, it's just freakin mayhem.

Looks like Domenech is done after this anyways, i read elsewhere that Laurent Blanc has been tapped as the next coach already. I don't know much about him.

I think dash was on the right track .. they might say both teams mutually agreed to play "american football" and PRK bravely lost by only 1 converted touchdown

Chile has a pretty good looking PP here. lotsa pressure so far.
and yes, it was a pretty weak red. The swiss dude was flailing elbows, but the first guy that wne t down dove, and the 2nd guy embellished. Kind of why I don't really like either of these teams.
