Only 2 1/2 days until I shave my head with the St. Baldricks foundation to raise money for research for the fight against Childrens cancer of all forms.
If you are not familiar with the program, please go the St. Baldrick's - Home to see what they do and where the $$ goes.
It is a favorite charity of the NHL, as many players get involved and go under the clippers for a good cause. (see previous thread with Ottawa players getting shorn).
There are several event around town over the next two weeks, with literally hundreds and hundreds willing to get bald for the cause.
Since I am a hockey guy, I chose to participate in the event at the RBC center on Tuesday, 2/22, instead t one of the numerous Irish bars on 3/5. (Well, I'll probably STILL go to the bars :p)
Any amount can help. Even just 5 bucks.
